2010 Mitsubishi Evolution X gets minor updates
Mitsubishi has made a few subtle changes to its 2010 model year Evolution X for the Japanese market.
Already a highly potent machine, the revisions are only minor and includes lighter materials and a new colour display for the instrument cluster.
WRX and STi wannabes… look and weep as this is better in one heartbeat than the bizarro thing by Subaru! Back looks nice, do not know what that fuss is over and front is aggressive and gels with balance of car. Shades of old Galant VR4 in front; but hey at least it aint like all the others that look similar. COOL CAR AND WRX / STi IS FOOLS CAR!

Looks pretty good, and I bet it goes like a rat up a drainpipe (ie. QUICK)
John
why cant the 380 look this good? seriously…mitsubishi should base their full size family sedan next on this…im pretty sure people would then do a re-think about mitsubishi then.
Frugal One
Forget the car [should/nt they be focused on the 380?] get those 2 girls/models/milfs phone number for me:-)

I am a Subaru fan, but this may prove difficult to better – at least on the outside…Certainly would not discount the STi yet though
watto_cobra
Yep, took me a while to ignore them and look at the car, lol.

If you double click on the 2 chicks pic, the girl on the left isn’t that great looking upclose (sorry!) hehehe.
Love the car though!
CapnCrunch
Nice. So when do we get all the juicy details?

This will definitely be a hit.. looks awesome and from all reports the drive is equally as impressive.
Whats more it will also see a quick facelift of the new Impreza guaranteed.

Ive been growing alittle off the Evo… while the Sti is growing on me. The STi has a WAY better interior for starters… and overall, although its not a hot car per say, overall it looks alrite. The Evo has a hot front, but the rear is just crap for mine… just doesnt look differentiated enough, even the STi doesnt have major changes but with quad exhausts you know its packing alot more punch, where twin exhausts has become standard on family cars. So in my opinion, STi alrite looking overall… Evo hot front crap rear, evened out to be alrite looking rather then hot.

Oh and rim choices, disappointing from every example of the Evo Ive seen… they look like 16s and their design isnt great either

Fan-bloody-tastic!.
You dont have to be a Mitsubishi enthusiast to appraciate and aknowledge brilliant engineering & those of you who cant are in denial or Subaru owners.
Now if the same was applied to the multi-award winning 380. . . .

Well done team Mitsu.
You’ve lifted the bar. Subaru had their chance and totally blew it.
From its exterior, your EVO looks balanced, tough and it makes a mildly agressive drivers statement. I’m 52, love a drive, and subject to a test drive, would be pleased to park up your offering. This car looks like a keeper, something I’d be happy to rip down the highway to Melbourne in. A reason for a road trip. A mild head turner for all ages.
I’ve had 5 subies, the new WRX looks appalling. It looks like a tribeca on valium. Like a riced Kia, a real dud. I won’t buy another subie till they’ve resolved their abysmal styling themes, and deliver something that would inspire me to write them a cheque.
Give us an idea of attendance level / comments made at the motor show.. Evo vs WRX. I bet (guess) Evo is getting a big reception.
I’m going tomorrow, and will eagerly watch the two stalls and listen to comments.
Well done Evo.

i am a fan of the interior but that front i think it might grow on me but i doubt it think ill stick with my subie!! not the new one though.

Saw it in flesh the other day… those rims do really look small as compared to the rest of the car, apart that, externally its quite good looking.
