2011 Volkswagen Passat touring wagon spied
The new generation Volkswagen Passat family seems to be coming along nicely with the touring variant spied undergoing durability testing recently in the European mountains.
Judging by the amount of sag at the rear it seems this Volkswagen Passat development prototype was hauling quite a heavy load under relatively extreme conditions in the cold, high-altitude environments.
As with the sedan variant which we snapped earlier last month, the new Volkswagen Passat Touring Wagon will receive the new VW family face, similar to the new Golf and recently revealed Polo.
It is also expected to borrow equipment and design cues from the sleek Volkswagen Passat CC to improve the overall quality of the new generation Passat package.
