So what’s the big deal? I see hardly anything different about it (special colour but PLAIN, and a different grill).

    Does anyone have any details?

  2. alborz says:

Change of colour, more specs, no more power, interior trim changes etc… limited run

  3. Ghosn says:

    Shame on you HSV. /boring

  4. watto_cobra says:

Haha, it’s ironic to me. I had some Holden mates slagging off the cobra inveiling at Bathurst (out of habit I suspect). They shut up by the end of the race of course.

At least the Cobra got a power increase plus the visual goodies. HSV 20th Anniversary got less than that.

  5. NRD80Y says:

Just wait, it’s about to get more embarrassing when you see the side shot. It has a black stipe, not a good one either.

  6. John says:

    yawn…

  7. Matt says:

its not the one in the picture, it is just about to be unveiled

  8. al bino says:

nope thats it dude, thought it would be a bit better than that

  9. Frosty says:

HSV are just waiting for Australia’s premier Motorshow in Melbourne 2008 for its major release of the more powerful E series. Victorian Company waiting for its states show. As is Holden with the release of the Sportswagon and more news about the Torana comeback.

You’re forgetting that apart from the unique colours the previous limited edition anniversary models from HSV

    10th Ann Clubbie – Jaffa [Orange/Red - a bit like Ignition]
10th Ann Maloo – Lightning [Yellow]
15th Ann Clubbie/Maloo – Opal [Similar Delft Blue]

didn’t really have any extra features.. yet they all sold very quickly

So it’s not really that surprising to see a Clubbie in the unique Platinum colour for the 20th Anniversary

  11. Andrew M says:

    no offence Alborz,
but if you had a few more details why didnt you put a little article together?

ah but im sure you had a lot to cover from the show so its OK

  12. Andrew M says:

    whats the limited run etc.

  13. wheelnut says:

The 20th Anniversary Clubie will be limited to 100 units and only come in that Platinum/Titanium colour.

From what I can gather [after reading various articles about the car] the special features include – GTS Front Bumper; Flat Bottom S/Wheel; MRC Suspension; Premium
[6 Pot] Brakes ; Unique Interior and Unique Wheels

  14. Me. says:

FPV Cobra looks better from the out side because Ford can use trade mark stripes that Holden can’t do. It looks like this HSV has a black line above the side skirt, but no where near as good as the FPV GT or Cobra stripes.

  15. Bavarian Missile says:

Its bland as…..I bet no one is beating on HSVs door wanting one of those! Talk about any excuse for a limited run….

  16. wheelnut says:

Me – Holden/HSV can use the “racing stripes” from the [HK] GTS Monaro.

They look okay on a coupe [HK Monaro, Charger or XC Cobra] but don’t really suit a sedan or ute [VE Clubbie or BF Cobra]; they look tacky and ruin the looks of the car..
The only exception of course is the GT as that was originally a sedan. [XR]

  17. Duck says:

if i was going to buy the car id rather get it in blue or red!

  18. Wheelnut says:

According to my local HSV dealer “Platinum” is the Only Colour you can get the 20th Ann Clubbie in because it’s a limited edition [unique to this model]
However; if you prefer Red or Blue: the 10th Anniversary VT Clubbie R8 came in Jaffa Red; then the 15th Ann Maloo R8 and Clubbie R8 came in Delft Blue.

  19. greg says:

    This is soooooo dull
