Ultimate Ford Experience competition for Falcon fans

By Tim Beissmann |

As a part of its 50th birthday celebrations for the Ford Falcon, Ford Australia has launched a new online competition to give 50 of the car’s biggest fans an exclusive behind-the-scenes Falcon experience.

The successful entrants of the Ultimate Ford Experience competition will enjoy:

  • A never-before-seen tour of the Ford Design Studio
  • A guided tour of the Broadmeadows assembly plant and the Geelong plant
  • A tour of Ford Australia’s private Proving Ground in the You Yangs and a lap around the track with a Ford test driver, and
  • A private lunch with Falcon racing legends Alan Moffatt and Dick Johnson and Ford Australia President, Marin Burela

To enter, Falcon fans need to log on to Facebook and “like” the “Falcon Turns 50” page at www.facebook.com/FalconTurns50, then complete the criteria by answering five questions about the history of the Falcon, uploading a photo of your favourite Falcon memory and writing a 50 to 100 word caption describing it.

The competition opens today and closes on July 9, 2010 at 4pm. The winners will be announced on the “Falcon Turns 50” Facebook page on July 14, 2010.

The Ultimate Ford Experience competition terms and conditions can be viewed on the “Falcon Turns 50” Facebook fan page.

Ive owned 3 Commodores as my last 3 cars, does that qualify me?

    • greenroom

to enter yes.. to win.. not likely.

  • Michael Read

TomJ……and you admit you have had 3 Commodores? Just shows your bad taste in cars really seeing that it is widely known that the Falcon is and has always been the better car.

    • Andrew

      AU falcon anybody ?

      • Ben

R you refering to the AU as being a bad car? If I remember correctly the Series 1 AU beat the same year commodore as an overall package. N if you wanted looks, power and handling there was the AU3 TS model cars with the last of the line hand built stroker Windsor V8s :-)

  • Jazrod

That G6E-Turbo looks awesome! Absolutely awesome… (Would be better in black…)

    • Andrew M

Would be even better if it was a real photo.

These CGI’s that every one is using just look too cartoonish for my liking.

But yes, the G6E is a good looker, but I wouldnt go black. There is however 2 colours in particular that really set it off better than the pictured blue

  • wot the?

“then complete the criteria by answering five questions about the history of the Falcon, uploading a photo of your favourite Falcon memory and writing a 50 to 100 word caption describing it.”

Then enter your visa card details, your full name, DOB, address, social security number, forward all of your email address book contents, offer your firstborn and give us your soul.
Good grief Ford! You’d want to give me a GOOD chance to win a new car with all these ridiculous hoops!
