Lexus IS500 2007

Spy shots of the new Lexus IS500 have appeared on the net. The bigger brother of the IS300, the IS500 is set to be released in Japan sometime later this year. No official (or unofficial) news regarding the Lexus IS500’s arrival in Australia. We can only hope this car makes it down under sometime soon.
Why do I care about a luxury Toyota? Well, because its powered by a 5.0 Litre V8 (2UR-FSE) engine that develops 420bhp (at 5800rpm) and 550Nm of torque (at 3800rpm). No word on 0-100 times yet, but it should be fast! The IS500 is reportedly 4665×1820x1435mm with a 2730mm wheelbase and weighs 1685kg.
