2011 Suzuki Swift Busted

By Paul Maric |

The 2011 Suzuki Swift has been captured undisguised in Hungary on the back of a car carrier.

A massive oversight by the transport company has seen the 2011 Suzuki Swift revealed ahead of its anticipated public debut at the Paris Motor Show.

Suzuki is expected to unveil the car to the public ahead of the Paris Motor Show, with official sales starting soon after the motor show.

A Renault Megane style rear end has been employed to help the Swift meet stringent crash test standards. While front-on photos haven’t yet been captured, the 2011 Suzuki Swift is expected to look similar to the Kizashi, keeping on with its sporty and youthful theme.

Reports suggest the 2011 Suzuki Swift will feature both petrol and diesel engines, making the Swift a revived competitor for the small car market segment.

CarAdvice will keep you posted as more information comes to hand.

Mini Cooper’s roof and Renault Megane’s back

    Looks great tho!

    • Hung Low

Hope that did not take 5 years to notice!

    • MattP

Mini Cooper roof? Are you referring to the white transport film above the rear window and on the roof? This film is taken off in pre-delivery and is only there to protect the paint while in transit from factory to showroom.

      • ChineseDriver

You are right MattP, my bad!

      • Who?

Regardless of this, park a swift next to a mini, look at it from the side profile, squint and they will both look the same. The angle of the roofline is almost identical to the mini.

Really does look like the last gen megane, for better or worse

I quiet like the slightly new look. I just hope the Swift doesnt get the exact Kizashi “googly eyed” face.

What sort of car’s taking the photos? Surely it had enough power to overtake the truck and give us a decent view of the front!

How good are you at driving @ 100Kp/h, turning around and taking a photo of the cars behind you?

  • Steve-Poyza

Yeah it is definitely somewhat similar to the Mégane. It also looks very similar to before. I slightly subtle redesign, almost like the FG Falcon.

  • GTR

Looks like it’s smiling for the camera from the back! :P

crap man if i was in the car taking photos i’d jump onto the freakin truck and take some pics

  • Mega

If it was me taking photos I’d enter the infinite health cheat and hijack the driver of the truck, and then I’d use the remove wanted level cheat. Then all I need to do is drive it back to my safe-house garage and save the game.
    (-_-)

But why would you want to steal a truck full of Suzuki swifts??? Given the power there would be much more fun things to do!!

      • nickdl

I suppose you’re more into shooting hookers then…

This will be a complete fail! Swift sold well because teen girls thought it was cute. The Disney Pixar studios have a lot to answer for with the smiling look being adapted it seems on the back of cars now as well. Add a number plate and you have a single toothed Hill Billy grinning stupidly back at you.

    • Toxic_Horse

Are you joking, with a diesel option this is going to sell like crazy.
Lets hope we get some sort of Gti maybe with a 2 litre.

wow a VERY keen eye to pick it from a current swift!

it still hasnt addressed the main issue with the current swift.

its too short! it needs a rear 1/4 window and to be be 15-20cm longer. you cant get anything in the back of these things. Also, how high is the load lip on the back!!

bitch oif a design to get something heavy into the back of.

    • Mitch

      Muscle up

    • stinka

rear 1/4 window? buy the liana , and on the note of bitch of a design to get something heavy into are you kidding ? its just over knee height, you must be a midget or very very weak.
