Come to think about it, the CGI picture of the falcon does have some real parts of the actuall FG Falcon. The one thing I can see they got the rear lights exactly right. The window sill though is slopprd down to much. And one thing is that the real FG Falcon (not FPV’s (Cause FPV’s have two exhaust pipes)) does not have two exhaust pipes like the CGI does.

Whats your point Zilla, I still wouldn’t buy a Toyoda sewing maching because I have taste for real cars and the Falcon XR6 gets my vote over anything in it’s class, ohhh I fogot Toyota does not have anything that rivals this Falcon.. lol hahahahahaha :D

205KW and 395Newton meters of torque is just way ahead of all the others. I knew Ford will bring out a car that will humiliate all the others. And thats only your base Falcon. Kill em all ford.

this looks to be another amazing car by Ford. Its styling is starting to mimic european cars but still has the raw look that appeals to Australia. awesome rendering. looks beaut.

I bought my 2003 BA FALCON XR 6 from the factory brand new and I never had any problems with it. Regular servicing, averaging 12.9 litres per 100km and with only 55,ooo on it I can easily get another 150,000 on it before problems start. Buy a Ford everybody cause they last much longer and go faster than all the rest. 2008 Orion I cant wait till its out. Its gonna humiliate all the others

–Remember Ford have pre-dated your crap Holdenwoos for more than 20 years in Australia before the FX with its crap weak body spreading if you put too much weight on it.

–Holden had to copy the design of the XK Falcon.

–Bet you love the “Misfire 4″ in the re-baged Opel Rekord and how crap it was compared to the Ford’s 6 at the same time. So good bye to Holden’s own six cylinders.

–Holden were so bad they had to use Nissan, YES NISSAN engines! then the VN with a Buick, YES BUICK V6.

–Ad campaign for Commodores with Buick V6 should of been = “Power steering fluid leaks come standard”

–Now back to present time, Holdenwoo spends more than 1 billion dollars on a Dunnydore. Must mean it’s a great car hey?

…Areas where a 4 year old car are better… Problems galore, try starting it in the morning and it won’t go, A new car won’t even start after the company who made it spent more that 1 billion dollars in development and it won’t go.

So give me the facts, thanks. I don’t need to hear “Ford = Crap” – it’s not the facts.

If the venerable 4 litre inline 6 was a global engine there would be plenty of money to upgrade it to EuroIV standards. More money would also improve it’s performance and fuel economy even further.

There would be years left in that engine if it weren’t limited to Oz.
