Today’s news that Lexus’ LFA has sold out comes at no surprise. Just have a listen to the engine:
The Lexus LFA is Toyota and Lexus’ Halo car, the model is set to ignite the bright and sporty future of both brands. The LFA will act like Nissan’s GTR (although it’s more of a luxury supercar than an outright track car like the GTR).
It’s powered by a 10-cylinder (1LR-GUE) engine with 412 kW and 480 Nm of torque. It does the 0-100km/h dash in just 3.6 seconds.
WIth Toyota’s boss an avid fan (and racer) of the LFA project, the big T is in the process of introducing numerous sporty vehicles to its lineup. It would seem that it’s work on the LFA is a sign of the company’s commitment to creating more cars with character and soul.
