Silver looks great. Definitely different looking enough from the “rocket compact sedan” the EVO looks like, to attract more of the euro market.

The looks grow on me, I pumped fenders and bumper makes it look so much tougher.

Likin it! Now just a test drive.

my guess is they will be on par in performance. evo maybe less powered but will put down the power better.

my money is on the evo. looks more expensive and yet more stylish.

Funny, the brochure for the STi in this link about indicates a 2.0L motor. Are we having different size motors in different countries? I would expect Oz will be receiving a 2.5L variant

Well here is the post from nasioc.com. Crystal clear photos. The inside looks great in my opinion. Outside, yep still a chicks car. Needs a whopping big spoiler like the rally car. And the air intake is still too tame.

Looks like a beetle with the cabin over the back wheel arch instead of central.

I can’t define that as aggressive looking, or good by any means or angle. I would take an evo over this in a heartbeat.

Looks decent… hard to directly compare an Evo and Sti now in terms of looks because one is a sedan the other is a hatch. Both looks good. From what Ive seen of the Sti though Im starting to like it more, the Evo’s front end is unbeatable but its rear is a let down, in terms of looks, this car seems to be better rounded…. from the pics at least.

Why do these cars have so few gauges? I mean they should at a minimum have a boost gauge. Where does one obtain good quality after market gauges that do not look like tacky add-ons?

I’ve always been interested at this, and have not put all my eggs on the EVO X, and I am glad I have given this a chance…

The pumped guards, enlarged bumper etc… All directly taken from the WRC concept.. and its looking mighty fine.

The EVO looks aggressive and is very good looking. But is almost too alike to a love child between a R34 GTR and an Audi…. which is good and all. But the STi looks like one of those Euro hatches (Renault, Peugeot etc) injected with steroids then given the Japanese-influenced sports kit/ engine performance etc…. which results in a unique looking beast!… Gotta line up for a test drive! :-)

The technical figures are exciting, but the look is still somewhat tame. For the right price it would be a consideration; and the right price is about the same as they are worth now… I hope it is leather on the seating. The Liberty GT STi seats were perfect! :-)

Gee it seems the car release game is like some sort of spy game now,could become dangerous .

I really starting to like this car more and more. Ill have the World Rally Blue with gold wheels thanks!
