While I wait for my last post to be moderated……know idea why……will email Alborz and ask him.

My house if mainly full of Australian stuff,collecting for over 20 years! My lounge room is Victorian and my bedroom too pretty for most blokes but full of 1900s nudes on the wall with 1920 teddy suits bras and scanties if you know what they are! Dressing table full of old perfume bottles,compacts and handbags from the 1930s!

Even a maniquine in the corner with a 1890s wedding dress
on it!

Every person that has seen my bedroom has gone wow……yes they have all been women!hahahaha

I love perfection !

Rest of the house is pretty much the same……jammed packed with antiques! Bet you never would have guessed I love that old passion too!

Yeah…………wow!

I come from the second fleet that landed in Australia,yes convict! A she……..at 17 was sent to Australia for stealing a mans clothes ,she was a prostitute as many were in those days. Thought it funny that she stole his shoes and clothes to sell as he wouldn’t pay her for services rendered!

Rachel Hoddy came over believe it or not with another famous female that was to also be a famous , Kevin Rudds descendant!

4 famous females on that one ship that made a name for them selves in this great country,and I was one of the decedents!

I still have that same drive she was the first Tasmanian woman to own a pub! Thats over 200 years ago,know the scary thing the Pub she first opened was next door to the Church I was first married in and my Mum. Truth!!! Never knew that till a few years ago!

I have been collecting antiques since I was about 20! Yep thats a while! My first house I owned was Victorian …..love old houses ! Hope I get another one day ! Got the furniture for it! I love a bit of land around me and here in the West thats hard to find as a combo!

MISSILE the Antique Junkie…OK, Iam too. I was at auction and nobody bid on this old jacket. It was old as. I bid. Took to musuem and asked what they thought – it has signature on pocket dated 1792 and man who looked said it was from Lord Nelson’s era. Low and behold there are 13 soild gold buttons on it and real gold also on side of legs on pants. The jacket is heavy and has all this old threaded gold embroidery. Worth a motza as enquired at Sotherbys. It is signed by Right Hon JA Campbell 16.7.92. Looks real old and feels old. Got on Stan Zemanek before he died and people said if genuine it is worth a motza. So you can get bargains!

There’s some strange people out there that’s for sure. don’t blame you locking your doors living up here i do that at lights etc
Being in that ute yesterday has made start to get cranky that mine’s not here yet. I really hope it left this week.
Once we put the tint on it cleaned her up put the protection on she shone. Took some pics to tied me over. Almost didn’t want to give it back to the dealer. LOL

Let it loosen up before you throw it on the dyno…..You throwing any mods at it?

Car is great so far…….a little gutless down low still ,but I was used to the modified BAGT we had! ALOT better in the paint!!!!Even cleared under the bonnet woohoo! No really much better car than the BA was! Needs a short shifter though! Funny what you get use too. People ask “how does it go”? They would think its awesome but once again…..its all relevant to what you have been in before?
Forget the mats……aint happening!
Still cant believe peoples reaction when your driving towards them,hard to miss I guess! Lots of thumbs up,get use to it Tara! I am a little use to reactions with the XAGT Coupe we also have ……….but this is different!

No one opened the door and sat in the front seat like I once experienced driving a 911,but I lock the doors where ever I go now!

Hey guys i had i Cobra ute in my work shop yesterday.
Whoohaha…Sorry to be the one to break it to you but your mats are going to be FPV mats no cobra on them at all. We had dealings with a head guy at FPV for a week over the mats and other bits the car is supposed to have and they said they will NOT have or never supply cobra mats.
BM… Thanks for the price on the car cover. I haven’t been on for a couple days missed heaps of stuff.

According to the dealer they’re specifically for the Cobra, has the Cobra embroydered on it (but we’ll see when it gets here).

Yep that would be fixing the stripes that fell off when you washed them……I thought NU FORD had a UTE around the same time we drove ours back from our Melbourne dealer.almost 3 weeks ago! Didn’t you see a Cobra UTE at NU FORD Cobra045?

Everybody else probably got sick of being RIPPED by W.A dealers !

Still waiting for my Cobra Ute to be delivered. Apparently it’s been made, just sitting at FPV having the last few finishing touches done to it. Should be here early December. Gonna whack it on a dyno as soon as I pick it up.

A few of the sedans have been delivered to WA already, but apparently I was one of the only people in WA that managed to pick up a ute from a WA dealer.
