To celebrate the marquee’s 75th anniversary, Jaguar Australia has today confirmed that it has secured just ten examples of the potent Jaguar XKR Special Edition for the local market.
Described as the ultimate supercharged Jaguar, the Jaguar XKR Special Edition will be offered in Australia from October in coupe form only, with each car finished in the stunning Polaris white.
Under the bonnet you will find a supercharged V8 engine producing peak power of 375kW and 625Nm, capable of reaching 100km/h in just 4.8 seconds from a standstill and on to a top speed of 280km/h.

The exterior look is completed by 20-inch Kalimnos wheels finished in a contrasting gloss black – a theme carried over to the upper and lower grilles, side air intakes and window surrounds – red painted brake callipers with the R logo, front lip spoiler, larger rear spoiler and XKR side decal.
Inside, the Jaguar XKR Special Edition features piano black highlights, warm charcoal leather upholstery with contrast cranberry stitching, the acclaimed JaguarDrive Selector knob, seven-inch touch-screen monitor, 16-way adjustable cooled and heated seats and Jet Suede premium headlining.
The 525-watt audio system in the Jaguar XKR Special Edition is the ultimate from Bowers & Wilkins, with Dolby ProLogic II surround sound, Kevlar mid-range speakers and specially designed aluminium tweeters.
The Jaguar XKR Special Edition will be priced from $272,000 which represents a $17,000 premium over the standard XKR Coupe.
