No doubts, the new x-trail has come out with some nice new features like diesel 6MT option. However, the eye stabbing ugliness of the headlights simply can't make me "feel" any respect for this vehicle. Take a look at new audi suv or Touareg, the whole suv made so smooth and pleasing to eyes.
Nissan x-trail must redesign their super ugly headlights and make them a bit narrower, slantier and more stylish if they want more buyers for this vehicle which is awesome by all means except for the ugliest headlights ever seen...

I have a xtrail ti 2003 no rattle in rear seat at 76000klms 1 rattlein dash under left air bag. only other problem slight shudder when braking from about 100 klm even after changeing front rotors wondering if in abs sytems. as for fuel consumption may as well own a v8 8.6klm per lt 6.5klm towing a lightweight van 950kgs other than that a very nice vehicle to drive ps its an auto.

please this is tragic.cars do lots of things to lots of people.bit like a great burger or not getting one!very personal. U tools(and everyone knows who you are!) are being foolish and sould like you have no life.I want facts about the Xtrail not views that are unfounded or personal. It is very offensive what you have said bout Donna, she seems to be in a better place anyway.Kluger is dearer than the xtrail ti,and I mean by thousands.sure it is a good car but people do have a budget.I personally can choose from a wide price range.I just keep going back to the fantastic, comfy interior of the Xtrail.None of them are really pretty, yes the mazda is a great car but looks like a cane toad and Honda is a sleek machine but visually dull.In all honesty don't all cars go in the year 2008? I just want a normal review please, is there anybody out there................

We are not talking of sqeaking trim or rattle in dah wherever. My point is the seat backrest pin that locked onto body mechanism had very sloopy tolerance as pin was lot less diameter then inside of locking mechanism and this finish is identical in her X-Trail.

You would clearly make sense if it was a rattle in dash. Then I would not comment once!

Max & Missile,

How would someone know why your car rattled and their's didn't???

Give it a rest. Good for her that she's happy with her purchase, and had a good run out of her old model.

COMMENT PLEASE AND LEAVE SECOND AND THIRD PARAGRAPHS OUT OF YOUR RESPONSES (as per your post 8.37pm) OUT OF ANY ADDITIONAL COMMENTS.

AWAITING COMMENTS ON "CLEAR MANUFACTURING PROBLEM" OF THIS MODEL AND NOT YOUR PERSONAL COMMENTS ON THAT WARM FUZZY FEELING YOU HAVE ON CAR!

DONNA - Irrelevant comment of yours as you just move goalposts away from facts at clear hand KINDLY REFER 8.41pm / 8.34pm / 8.26pm comments. Why did yours not rattle when as I clearly said when I pushed Bellbowrie Motors at Coffs Harbour and Nissan direct it was acknowledged it was a fault. Did you buy your car at 133,000kms speedo reading and sell it some time later at 133,000kms as that must be the case!

So your telling us after 13000ks it had not one fault or rattle? What was you vehicle set up for blind and deaf people? I am yet to be in ANY car after 130000ks and not hear a rattle! Did you do 130000 ks on a rolling road? hahaha
Sorry but I don't believe you either ,I guess some people are just fussier about cars than others, which is why I wouldn't have bought one in the first place.Honda Toyota and Mazda are all over Nissans styling and quality, always have been!
