Mahindra Pik-Up offers chance to ‘rate & win’ 100 utes

Mahindra Automotive Australia (MAA) has launched its new 'Rate & Win' competition across the nation, offering 100 entrants the chance to drive away in a free ute.

The competition, which will run until June 30, is open to any one who test drives a new Mahindra Pik-Up through one of the brand's dealerships. From there, it's a simple case of rating the Pik-Up's top ten features. If you pick the same ten features in the same order as Mahindra's panel of motoring experts, you could drive away in a brand new ute.

"When discussing ute options with their local dealer we wanted to give consumers a chance to understand and experience the Pik-Up’s features and benefits in a fun and interactive way," explained Claire Tynan, CEO, Mahindra Automotive Australia.

"If they rate the ten selected features in the same order as our motoring experts, they could drive away with a brand new car for free. Quite simple really!

"Our dealers love the promotion, and consumers would be mad not to experience the Pik-Up first hand and add it to their shopping list!"

To give you a head start, the Mahindra Pik-Up includes such features as:

  • Dual front airbags
  • ABS braking system
  • Air-conditioning
  • Over 1 tonne payload
  • Limited slip differential (LSD)
  • On-the-fly 4WD
  • Power steering
  • Power windows
  • Power mirrors
  • 210mm ground clearance
  • 2-Din audio Stereo + SD/USB/MP3/CD player with tuner
  • Follow-me-home headlights

The feature list must be ranked in order of how important you deem the features to be. Runner up prizes will also be won by those who come close to matching the top ten ranking.

"Once a customer experiences a test-drive in a Pik-Up and realises the value-laden offer available to them at Mahindra, we find a whole new pool of work-horse ute devotees who have been looking for creature comforts in a vehicle that can also do the tough jobs they need a ute to do," said Ms Tynan.

"So in adding a win element to the test-drive experience we can ensure the benefits of a Pik-Up are underlined with an element of excitement."

The competition will be supported by a new television commercial campaign, online and print advertising.
