Lancer Evolution X Ralliart

September 25, 2007 by George Skentzos

If the official photos of the soon to be released Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X have left you thinking how much of its good looks can be credited to fancy photography and post-editing, then these spy shots acquired by NihonCar may just put your mind at ease.

In a word, this car looks spectacular.

This isn’t your average Evolution, this is the new Ralliart variant which – if previous generations are any indication – could make its way into Australia in limited quantities.

Mitsubishi definitely have a winner on their hands. Perhaps the only downfall for purists is that the Evolution yet again shares the majority of its appearance with the standard Lancer, meaning the wave of imitation Evolutions are sure to come.

      Unf*cking believable!
      What a f*cking amazing car!
Mitsubishi is back and if the new lower spec models are anything to go by the new Evo is bound to be brilliant. . . . .AGAIN!.

I am not a huge fan of the rear… the front is amazing though! Overall its very good, the back isnt bad it just abit to basic… changing the look of the tailights, even if its just the assembly itself (like the colours, shapes of lights inside it), would help alot to differentiate itself from lower models.

My first car was a Mitsubishi Sigma over 450,000km’s on the clock, so I have a soft spot for them even though im a Ford fan, this evo looks great, what an improvement and will contend against it’s rivals very well especially the softer looking Subaru wrx…

I don’t mind the back really.

Wouldn’t mind selling my VW MKV Golf R32 for a Evo Ralliart edition provided the interior has been significantly improved since the last model (base model interiors seem alright, so a good sign).

Superb – another giant killer for Mitsu. M3’s stay in your garages unless you wanna get whipped!

Will definitely make the Performance Car series interesting when the NEW M3 and Evo arrive. I am still impressed that a Monaro is beating the Evos still in the Championship!

A Monaro beating an EVO 1X – Can’t be, the laws of physics are against it. Must be a monkey driving the EVO!

I sooo agree with bavarian missile. If darth vader were a car he would definately be an evo x.I however would still go with the impreza wrx sti, imagine when they release a specail edition like the type r spec c models, it will be a duel between darth and skywalker! I can’t wait for that.

Dee, if I were you I would definately go with the Subaru liberty GT-B spec tuned by STi. There can be no comaprission in my view. The Subaru will have longer service inetrvals, would have a better resale value plus the GT-B spec c STi is bound to look and feel better alround!
