Totally agree! In this country a VW car like luxury. Why?? In Germany even Mercedes is nothing special. Second best selling car like Toyota here. So if I am driving an A class I am a snob!!

Australia is one of the very few countries where VW is marketed as ‘premium.’ It is a value-based brand pretty much everywhere else, hence Volkswagen translates to People’s Car.

Where does it leave Volkswagen, granted VW also owns Audi? Audi’s success surely is due to the ingenuiety of their engineers and marketing people, something VW cannot boast about.
