I think some are missing the point of a 4WD. Its drivetrain acts in an ingenious way in which 4 wheels are powered, enabling us to drive on muddy, rough or slippery terrain. The ride height is also greater than their 2WD cousins, also allowing for off road travel with the drawback of a higher centre of gravity. 4WD’s were always intended to be slow and steady vehicles, not the sort of vehicle one would try to outstrip an idiot commodore in.

Bahaha, you cant wait to blow one away on the hume?? you better be driving a porsche cayenna turbo fool, if you wanna battle in another 4wd that is, unless your driving a dunnidoor V8… I have blown everything off the road, except porsche cayenna turbo and supercharged merc.. nothing else stands a chance.. Another correction Toyotas aren’t cars they are whitegoods on wheels. Go to their website and pick Appliance White and see how good a Hilux can look. Ha Ha Ha

I think u miss my point. Toyota once upon a time sold cars that were well equipped. This was in the days when they were still trying to establish themselves in the market. They did this as the Koreans are today by offering more features as standard. Now they are a market leader the standard of the offering has dropped. Most people that I know that have gone to one of these eventually end up going back to a Ford or Holden ute. Toyota have certainly mesmerized the buying public and now are able to sell an inferior cost product offering. Just frustrates me how gullible people are.

CONGRATULATIONS CARADVICE FOR EXCELLENT STORIES ON CARS (plural) THAT SOME OBSESSED SINGLE CAR MAKER LOVERS HAVE TROUBLE SWALLOWING. The website is good for lovers of cars and not for you being a one car brand lover! Get sick of closet wallies like Toyota Paul and others here who push one wheel barrow as they have a limited tint dim view of cars outside one brand!

Look, get rid of your one car make obsessed mentality! If you attack why this story is up, then get a large upgrade of reality and realise you view things a set way that is ingrown in you back to childhood.
