Looks like you forgot that Clarkson did drive the Bugatti a lot earlier in the piece when it was released. Ever Mr2 remembers. And we didn’t get to see a lot of the takes that we didn’t get to see where Tiff keeps powersliding out just for show. Don’t get me wrong, Tiff is a great driver, albeit a proponent of over indulging in power slides (is he the Stig?) But Clarkson is the better presenter!

Good fun to drive across Europe though, like the Top Gear race against the plane. The Bugatti won.

Its true, its track speed is not all that good, its not made for it.

Its why TopGear where banned from letting TheStig have a big go in it.

Rather the MF1 Project 1221, thats just me though!

The ESP seems to be very intrusive. He was kicking the throttle in one of the corners and nothing seemed to happen. With 1000+ HP you would expect it to have a violent jerk or something but the electronics seem to really slow it down.
I agree with alborz it is more a show pony than a driver’s car. An Enzo would give it a run for its money let alone a FXX.
But the interior though is probably the best of any supercar.

I agree with you chaser,

it didnt seem to be able to use anywhere near its 1001 HP, a bit of a useless car to be honest, more of a show pony than a driver’s car.

I’d rather take an Enzo or something similar that is actually track worthy.

I’d imagine an Evo IX will beat the Bugatti around a track that has a lot of turns.

from that video, it didnt’ seem that veyron was getting around there quick enough..

I personally thing Bugatti had an idea that it wouldn’t be able to clock a quick enough time compared to the other cars on their board (topgear) hence they refuse.. regardless Tiff might be a good driver, but he can’t present the cars without seeming like a joker.
