20th Anniversary HSV for Australian International Motor Show
September 16, 2007 by George Skentzos
To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Holden Special Vehicles, the company is planning a Limited Edition Clubsport for the Australian International Motor Show.
A countdown timer on their website confirms that HSV have something special planned to celebrate this milestone.
Several members of the Australian LS1 community have speculated on the exact specifications of the anniversary edition.
“The exact specs on this 20th anniversary are not exactly clear. R8 & Sandstorm colour are a given, Interior is Onyx/Light urban not clear if this means two tone as with the red hot option or that the stiching colour is light urban, Rims are shadow chrome, fingers crossed they are same as GTS but I doubt it. Number of these being produced is 100 only.”
Thanks to dangs and bouka of LS1.com.au for the info.
CGI Automotive has completed a preliminary design based on information available.
Only another 25 days, 15 hours, 29 minutes and 30 seconds to go…

looks shit house
That gold is the same as my old 1988 Cressida. Looks OK on a Statesman, but not a HSV.
MMM, do they throw a free cardigan in with the hat on the back window? Hahaha
THAT COLOUR IS SOOOO GAY, EVEN I WAS GIVEN ONE I’D PAINT IT STRAIGHT AWAY. YUKK!!
Haha yeah dunno why the offer it, surely they know their target market wouldnt even consider that. Even white for me is crap, fleet cars and taxis are white dammit! Dark colours look best on the HSVs imo… fits in with its aggressive stance.
guys… i can confirm the colour etc is correct… however it will ride on the normal Clubsport rims finished in shadow chrome (dark chrome similar to GTS rim colour). In addition, the brake calipers will be painted in the same gold/sandstorm colour .
ive ordered one, and know as much as id listed here.. specs and pricing TBA :-)
To The BigT: Sounds like you are jealous cause you can’t afford one!
I’ve just bought mine and the colour actually grows on you and looks classy with the matt black. But owning one of only 80 in Australia is what takes the cake. It’s a lot better than the other Holden ‘comic’ book colours out there, that doesn’t make you barf, and the best thing is that it doesn’t look like the other 100,000+ Silver cars out there and stands out for the great car it is.
gold20 says,
the car is shit hot,and stands out over any black HSV.
ive just got one!!!ha ha.
