Historic Winton ready for 34th year of classic racing

Celebrating 34 years as Australia's premiere historic racing event, Historic Winton again readies itself for another action packed weekend of classic racing.

Featuring over 400 historic racing cars and motorbikes ranging from the 1920s to the 1980s, Historic Winton will this year also celebrate some significant contributions to the motoring world including 100 years of Alfa Romeo, 100 years of Peugeot - including 50 years since the launch of the revolutionary Peugeot 404, 75 years of Jaguar and the 60th Anniversary of long-time Historic Winton supporter, the Victorian Austin 7 Club.

The event will also host a number of ever-expanding special interest displays from classic car and bike club groups, and a unique display of Depression Era 'Aussie Ferals', non-restored but still running and registered.

Historic Winton is conducted by the Austin 7 Club of Victoria with the assistance of the Historic Motorcycle Racing Association and will be held at Winton Motor Raceway in Benalla, Victoria from May 29 - 30th.
