BMW 7 Series, EfficientDynamics programme honoured at UK fleet awards
BMW's 7 Series has been announced as the Best Luxury Car for the second year running at this year's UK Fleet News Awards.
The publication also honoured BMW with its Green Fleet Manufacturer award for the widespread introduction of its environmentally-friendly EfficientDynamics technologies across its model range.
The BMW 5 Series and BMW 3 Series were also highly commended in the Best Executive Car and Best Premium Car categories.
"These awards are great news for BMW and recognise the success of the EfficientDynamics programme in creating highly sustainable premium performance cars," said Sean Green, Sales Director of BMW UK.
"These technologies are designed-in to all our cars and, with improved performance and cleaner driving, mean real benefits for both retail and corporate customers."
The BMW EfficientDynamics programme reduces emissions and improves fuel consumption, while at the same time maintaining or increasing performance and driving enjoyment. EfficientDynamics includes additional green technology on existing fuel efficient petrol- and diesel-powered models such as a Gear Shift Indicator, Stop/Start technology and Brake Energy Regeneration.
