2011 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Estate spy photos

By Matt Brogan |

In addition to the Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan facelift spy photos we showed you last week, CarAdvice can now give you the first spy photos of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Estate (wagon) facelift.

As you can see, the changes are the same as the sedan, with a new, more aggressive front including some new lights, bonnet and more upright grille.

New bumpers front and rear are also noticed, as are LED tail-lamps.

We also know the dash will get some smaller changes since the test drivers are always very keen on covering the dashboard.

    I like the new C class! Engines are excellent. Petrol is 1.8 liter 135 or 150kW and torque 270Nm at 1800-4600 and 310Nm at 2000-4300. Diesel 2.2L 125Kw and 400Nm at 2000.

Yawn, give me a Holden Sportswagon anyday.

I know 6 of us now have disliked this comment, but I’ll be the first to say – ARE YOU NUTS?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

First, the 2010 C-Class looks great – this 2011 update can only look better… than the already outdated VE!

Second, lets look at interiors – hmm… Mercedes quality fastidiousness and design or Holden built-to-price, ? Hard decision.

Lastly, the Merc already has a better engine/transmission/drivetrain as it is! New engines & transmissions could only possibly be better with the roll Merc’s on now!

So, there – I’ve spoke my mind. Sorry if I have offended you, but blind bogans really need to be put in their place!

PS: I’d still have a Merc C-Class over a beloved FG any day (coming from a die-hard Ford fanatic!)

So your wife and kids have been indulging in too many big macs?

Holden Sportswagon is a great car but is totally outclassed in just about every aspect by the Sttugart stormer
