Yeah whatever mate. Thats why holdens n/a pushrod v8 produces almost the same power and torque as fords supercharged modular v8. Would you spend $15000 on a supercharger to get 10kw more power at the flywheel. Newer technology is specifically built to run bad and have a short usage life. Thats how they make more money off you dickhead. For outright power and reliability you need a pushrod v8. Thats why nascar, drag cars, v8 supercars, dirt track sprint cars, marine racing engines, monster trucks, and every high performance v8 race car uses a pushrod v8 you dickhead. Most of them use a carburettor too.

It does in terms of torque, power, fuel efficiency, quietnes, etc. Modern gasoline powered engine is much more efficient than yesteryear cars powered by pushrod engines. That's the fact!

James, internal combustion engines are all old tech in a way. The most advanced fueling technology doesn't change the fact.

Say what? It's a pushrod man and the editor makes a mistake!! It can't be one valve per cylinder (should be two)

This pushrod engine is decades behind. Nowadays, multi valve, variable valve timing, Dual overhead cam, direct injection etc.

No it is NOT fine unless you are a Holden fan.

This engine is relatively small, in terms of physical size and weight. It's also economical to produce and maintain. In the real world it works just fine.

European emission standards for passenger cars is Euro 5 since September 2009 and Euro 6 from Sept 2014. Anyway this is old technology you can get much better performance from smaller and more economical engines.
