Anyone else hear the news. Mitsubishi's Ralliart subsidiary has closed it's doors in Japan. The products will still come to us but the company has closed down.

The Outlander 2.4 auto uses the same Jatco JF011E CVT transmission as the Nissan X-Trail, Maxima 2.5, Dodge Caliber, Jeep Compass and Jeep Patriot.

That's one of the best, mean looking SUVs around, I wish I haven't bought my Xtrail. I hope they will release this model for the V6 as well, the CVT is not really reliable at all, I have my Xtrail CVT's transmission replaced twice already, and the car has only done 20000km,and in one year of ownership.

Computer hard disks have MTBF (mean time between failure) specification of 1,000,000 hours. If we live in a perfect world, the hard disks would last 1,000,000 hours or 41,667 days or 114 years. But the truth is hard disk crashes are too common.

This is the model for the Japanese Domestic Market. I love the front end.
I am having a second thought buying a Grandis now. Maybe I should buy this one instead. It has to be White Pearl. By the way, I own a 2005 Outlander LS.

For a few extra bucks you can get the VR model, which I have, which has a MUCH better engine, very revvy and smooth, a proper gearbox rather then the CVT which is fine in theory but a bit dissapointing in practice, and a waaaaaaaay better AWD system which really does work very well. You can throw it into a tight corner in the wet, slam the throttle at the apex and the car just hauls out the other side, no wheelspin, just grips and goes. It's no sportscar don't get me wrong, but for a soft roader it is very good.

Interior is comfortable and spacious, but yeah it would be nice if it was put together as well as the Tiguan, but the little VW is just tooo little which is why we ruled it out
