Lotus Evora Carbon concept Geneva debut

With the Lotus Evora rapidly growing in popularity, the brand has unveiled a stunning carbon design concept version at the Geneva Motor Show.

As its name would suggest, the Lotus Evora Carbon Concept meshes premium materials inspired by both performance and luxury, swathed in carbon fibre and Alcantara.

Inside, the Lotus Evora Carbon concept boasts a combination of stylish carbon fibre, leather and Alcantara.

A grey Alcantara covers the footwell, dashboard and roof with perforated leather used on the seats and similar cabin elements, juxtaposed by the hard surfaces of the carbon fibre panels.

Donato Coco, Director of Lotus Design commented, “The design of the Evora Carbon Concept car features exotic, high tech materials that offer a good synergy with the Lotus brand image, expressing our motorsport heritage and history of stylish sports cars for which Lotus are renowned.”

The exterior has been augmented with the inclusion of a structural carbon fibre roof, Lotus Motorsport influenced carbon diffuser and carbon splitter.

The concept car is finished in an advanced water based pearlescent paint that contrasts with the exquisitely finished weave on the carbon fibre panels.

It sits on diamond cut forged 19-inch alloy wheels front and rear, shod with Pirelli P-Zero Corsa tyres (235/35 wide front and 285/30 wide rear).

Lotus has not yet expressed whether it would include the Lotus Evora Carbon concept as a version of the current Evora range.
