Alfa Romeo Giulietta at Geneva Motor Show

Alfa Romeo has unwrapped its stunning Giulietta at the Geneva Motor Show this afternoon, a model that introduces owner Fiat's new "Compact" architecture platform.

The new underpinnings are said to satisfy even the most demanding customers wants for road-holding, safety and agility.

To be offered in five different guises, Giulietta will include two top-spec Quadrifoglio Verde variants (fitted with a 175kW petrol engine), two mid-level Distinctive versions (offering a 127kW turbo-diesel engine), and an entry-level Distinctive version (fitted with a 126kW turbo-petrol engine) will also be made available.

The new five-door hatch goes on sale in Europe this May. It is not yet known if the Giulietta will make it to Australia, though if the looks are anything to go by, we've certainly got our fingers crossed.
