Peugeot has has a successful start to 2010 by winning two prestigious awards.
Due for release in Australia this year is the Peugeot 3008 and RCZ, and have both been successful in receiving awards.
The Peugeot RCZ coupe was named most Beautiful Car of 2009 at the International Automobile Festival and will arrive in Australia in the second half of the year.
The winner is chosen from the public votes, more than 65,000 votes worldwide were cast and the RCZ received 33 per cent of the votes. This is the fourth time Peugeot has won this award.
Peugeot’s RCZ received a huge amount of public praise when first seen at the last Frankfurt Motor Show, with its double bubble roof and rear window and the two aluminium arches helping it stand out in the crowd.
RCZ’s win comes after the 3008 SUV was named Car of the Year by the UK magazine What Car? Arriving in Australia in April this year the 3008 has had great success in Europe with sales 30 per cent above its target.
Peugeot’s clever 3008 combines a hatchback, MPV and SUV into one easy to live with package.

Look in your driveway.
Whats wrong with the Lada Samara?
Oops . . . sorry. I thought you were in the house next door with the Ssangyong Stavic. Nothing wrong with the Lada at all.
That RCZ is one of the best looking cars I have ever seen even though Im not a fan of euro cars at all.
Been hanging to see one in the skin since I saw a piture of it last year some time.
A car design that has it’s own built in cleavage gets my vote any day of the week.
I’m praying this car has some substance to go with the style. Here’s hoping Peugeot have regained their suspension mojo and can deliver a car that’s a genuine driving companion while at the same time undercutting the price tag of an Audi TT.
