Ferrari 458 Italia, Maserati GranCabrio debut at new Ferrari Maserati Sydney dealership
When names like Ferrari and Maserati come together, you know you’ve got something special on your hands.
On Wednesday night the $30 million Ferrari Maserati Sydney dealership was officially opened in Waterloo with two very special debut guest appearances – the Ferrari 458 Italia and the Maserati GranCabrio.
More than 550 Australian Ferrari and Maserati owners at the opening of the five-level complex at the junction of Bourke and Elizabeth Streets were joined by Ferrari SpA CEO, Amedeo Felisa, and Maserati SpA global corporate director, Raffaele Fusilli, who were also on their first trips down under.
Mr Felisa labelled Ferrari Maserati Sydney “one of the best Ferrari dealerships in the world”, while his counterpart went even further, announcing that he was “proud to be able to welcome Maserati owners to the best Maserati dealer in the world”.
Ferrari Maserati Sydney dealer principal, Edward Butler, said the new dealership replaces separate sales and service facilities in William Street and Artarmon and more than triples the size of sales and service facilities for Ferrari and Maserati in Sydney.
“Our aim with developing this new dealership has been simple – to provide a quality of service and a working environment that is equal or better to anything in the world.
“Bringing these facilities together under one roof is central to our plan to expand our business and offer the highest levels of customer service,” Mr Butler said.
The 12,000 square metre dealership is also the new home of the Ateco Group, Australia and New Zealand’s largest independent car importer, which will distribute Alfa Romeo, Citroen and Fiat vehicles.
Among its finer features is liquid polymer single piece gloss flooring on the ground and first level showrooms, an angled “floating floor” to position cars ideally for viewing inside or outside the showroom, eight light pod hero car display points and a single light pod area for presenting new cars to their owners.
