I know I could do the mods you suggest for cheap, but I would have preferred a "special edition" that is truly special. My old boss had a 350Z convertible and had previously owned Mercs and BMW's. He has been more impressed with the reliability, not so much interior quality of the vehicle relative to the Germans.
