i just purchased one of these vehicles you speak of,i found it quite a nice thing to drive.i wouldn`t buy a new one i wouldn`t buy any new vehicle only because i don`t like tearing up money especially my own.i went to the trade auctions picked one up ex pharmacuiticl company with 70 k on it as new all the documentation great car for me it owes me nine thousand cheap just run in i will keep it look after it service it regularly and in three years time get back at least eight thousand or just crush it so what cheap transport new is for fools or more money than than sense well that`s my opinion please excuse any errors i have a third grade primary school education and am dyslexic……..nothing to do with intelligence albert einstein was too.

Back in 2006 they didnt have air con standard. Maybe you should check when the article was posted

Let me begin by pointing out the following errors in this misleading blog topic.

1) “the Holden Commodore VE comes standard without Aircon” – what absolute rubbish. Furthermore, the official Holden website feature tour on the Omega clearly indicates within the ‘Standard Stock features’ list that Aircon is included as a standard feature.

I live in Darwin. If Holden really did release the VE Omega without Aircon, then how come they are so common up here? It would be sales suicide.

2) “What an absolute waste of sheet metal. Horrendous pile of engineering vomit.” – yes, because you’re an engineering genius, right? This car is not designed as a high-performance vehicle. It’s designed for people like me with families.

Are you serious? You can’t even correctly spell the model of the car you’re insulting, let alone have any right of passage to judge the work on the VE Omega. Poor research, basic lack of common sense and an overall poor attitude made this post almost unbearable to read.

The only disaster on this page is this topic.

Why not buy an RX or a Corolla? I’ll tell you why, because they’re completely different cars. If you’re going to do comparrisons on vehicles regarding which to buy, at least stick to using other family size cars to be the variable.

Last time I’ll rely on this site for any kind of review.
