It was very subtle. The traction control reduces wheelspin going around tight corners or when taking off. It's hardly noticable, makes the car feel a little sluggish in the wet. As for overcompensating, if you're used to pushing the old model to the limit you should probably be careful on the first few runs... Understeering is greatly reduced.
