Audi RS6 Revealed

It didn’t take long; pictures of Audi’s RS6 Avant have been leaked.
As we expected, under the bonnet lies a twin-turbo V10 engine. The 5.2-litre unit is expected to push out an absolutely staggering 580HP (around 430kW) and a stellar 650Nm of torque.
The interior pictured features an automatic cog-swapper, so it is a likely that the ZF 6-speed will have the job of taming all this power and sending it through to the wheels.
As with the RS4, the RS6 will use Michelin Pilot Sport treads and will be available with optional carbon ceramic brakes.
Either way – as with the RS4 – CarAdvice will be driving the RS6 once it becomes available in Australia.

agian another weapon of a car by audi, but wouldn’t be there DSG gearbox, or is comfirmed that it is the ZF.
Thats Massive power from that car, that will blow away the M5 and E65 AMG, why audi is not in the WRC with the A3
Nice but wouldn’t the RS-4 handle better. Nice if they could stuff this engine in the A4 body

Never need to take your children to a theme park again, just make sure they have plenty of sick bags in the back! This vehicle (along with previous avant RS6s and RS4s for that matter) created a niche which no one ever thought existed. Very cool: YES, over the top: ABSOLUTELY!
