Hyundai has issued a recall for 50 of its 2007 Hyundai Grandeur over concerns the driver’s side power seat switch may not operate properly when driving.
The Korean manufacturer reports that the intermittent operations of the seat when the vehicle is in motion may cause driver distraction and result in difficulty controlling the vehicle, posing a hazard to the driver and other road users.
A total of 50 Grandeur sedans are affected, and were sold from 7 March 2007 through 14 August 2007.
Owners of the recalled vehicles will be contacted va mail, and are advised to contact their local dealer to have their seat repaired free of charge.
