Hi I am looking to buy my first large towing vehicle to haul our new 23ft caravan. I owned a large tandom wheel van many years ago but todays sizes and models are something different. I am looking at the Toyota LC 200 SEHARA and the Range Rover Vogue luxury TDV8. Can someone tell me what the difference is in these desiel engines, ie: 3.6 Litre as oposed to 4.2 Litre yet all the other ratios such as Kwt and torque etc are the same.

Excellent review. With that kind of ridiculous consumption you might as well go the whole way and forget the N/A V8 and get the supercharged version. Overall may not be that much worse on the fuel because of stupendous torque at low revs yet have the punch too put a smile on the face every once in a while!

Hi John.

My wife has just had a baby so sorry for the late reply.

Yes, the Sport would be fine on the Powerline track, although for some of the really heavy stuff, it won't have the articulation and ultimate ground clearance of the Vogue. You may have to take the chicken track on some sections.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Hi Karl

Just to ask the question I asked above - would the Sport handle this track as well?

Hi KM and Robbo.

Mitch is correct. The off road portion of the test, and the photos above, were done on the Powerline track, behind Mundaring in Western Australia.

Cheers

I used to work for Land Rover, looks like the same track they used to provide 4WD training on for staff, Central Coast NSW near Jilliby.
