I much prefer the off road bumper. The Aus spec Tiguan looks weird with its 6 metre front overhang and 4mm rear overhang

Nope, as of yet, Aus only receives the road-biased version. For an off-road ready version, Skoda will probably beat it to market with its Yeti; which shares both mechanicals and off-road tech.

I dont think Aus gets that improved-approach-angle front bumper on any variant?
