Narva introduces ‘heavy duty’ cable tie range; drifters rejoice

Drifters rejoice! Australian automotive parts company Narva has released a new range of heavy duty cable ties, promising higher-quality emergency fixes and repairs.

Making no secret of the importance and value of a good cable tie, Narva itself admits, “There is no doubt that cable ties are one of the most useful products anyone can have in their shed, workshop or vehicle tool box.”

Although they're mostly widely used - strange as it may seem - to tie cables together, cable ties have long been the bread-and-butter of emergency fixes and repairs for drifters the world over.

But while their strength and reliability can vary, Narva’s new heavy duty and extra heavy duty cable ties claim to be “long-lasting” and “high quality”.

Ranging in width from 7.6mm to 12.4mm, the UV-resistant cable ties are available in lengths up to 830mm, with standard head, double head, fir tree and mountable head variants all on offer, along with self-locking marine grade variants, which Narva says are “made of stainless steel for superior performance in fresh and saltwater marine environments”.

Approved with a UL94V-2 flammability rating “for longevity”, Narva says its nylon cable ties meet or exceed tensile strength MIL-S 23190E and maintain integrity within an operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.

Available in packets of 100 – because that’s what you need – Narva’s new heavy duty and extra heavy duty cable ties are on sale now. And as the Aussie company says, “A cable tie can go a long way in helping solve a problem.” Don’t we know it.
