suggests dimensions of 4295 x 1770 x 1615mm. Seems plausible, although I have no idea of the source of their info. That would pit it against Dualis and probably also VW Tiguan, if it is as space efficient as we would expect a Japanese maker to be. For instance, I notice that it appears to have the spare wheel suspended below the boot, as in the Zafira.

Well, I have a 1995 Mitsubishi RVR 4WD with 4G63 engine. Done 165,000ks and not put a foot wriong. I find it a great compromise in terms of the high seating (easy entry/exit), the command drving hight, the level of spec – it has sunroof, CD, Bosch spots, electric everything, air, auto trans, spare located on carrier which swings away from rear door, incredible seating options (Recaro type front seats and rear seat can slide back and forth about 18″) – which includes capacity to lie seats down front to back to create a flat dounbe bed. If this new one does the same business, and lasts as long, I’d be in for one.

I hate the name. Couldn’t they have named it something adventurous, or a real word along the lines of Outlander and Challenger? Like ‘NP’(National Park), or ‘ESV’(Extreme Sports Vehicle).
