Australian pricing for the Lotus Evora Sport 410 has been revealed, starting at $199,990 plus on-road costs when equipped with the six-speed manual.

Kicking off at a smidgen under $200,000 (though the six-speed auto is $209,990), the Evora Sport 410 is $15,000 more than the previous Evora 400 range-topper, with the new car bringing more power with a track-driving bent.

Creature comforts like air-conditioning, sun visors, satellite navigation and a rear-view camera are all reserved for the options list, which, in addition to more carbon-fibre components, helps the Evora Sport 410 to weigh 70kg less than the Evora 400.

Powering the Evora Sport 410 is the same Toyota-sourced 3.5-litre supercharged V6 found in the rest of the Evora range, though power is up by 8kW bringing outputs to 306kW and 410Nm.

Despite the power bump, the manual-equipped Evora Sport 410 sprints from 0-100km/h in 4.2 seconds – the same as the Evora 400 – however, with the optional six-speed automatic, the 410 betters that time by 0.1 seconds to 4.1 seconds.

Top speeds for the manual and auto remain the same as the 400, at 300km/h and 280km/h respectively.

Revealed earlier this year, the Lotus Evora Sport 410 features additional use of carbon-fibre throughout its construction, which not only helps to shave 70kg but also improves downforce by 15 per cent.

These changes helped the track hero lap the Lotus Hethel test track a whole 3.0 seconds faster than the Evora 400 (1 minute 28 seconds) with the optional Michelin Cup 2 tyre package fitted.
