Subaru Liberty GT, Impreza WRX/STI and Forester XT recalled for air pump fix:: 22,000 vehicles affected

Subaru has issued a recall for 22,726 vehicles from its turbocharged Liberty GT, Impreza WRX and STI, along with Forester XT models from various model years over concerns a faulty air pump could pose a fire risk.

The company reports that certain vehicles may contain a faulty secondary air pump relay, which could cause the secondary air pump to overheat.

If the fault occurs, this could result in a fire hazard.
