2017 Lamborghini Huracan Superleggera spied with more vents

The Lamborghini Huracan Superleggera has been spied again, but this time one of the prototypes has a few extra surprises in store.

The prototype seen here hustling around the Nurburgring Nordschleife has a three of vents with a camouflaged grille: one above the front wheel arch, one on that wheel arch's trailing edge, and another set just ahead of the rear wheel arch.

We're not quite sure whether these vents will make it into the production version of the Huracan Superleggera, or whatever it will be called, as another prototype spotted on public roads around the same didn't sport these apertures.

Aside from these mystery vents, the latest prototypes don't seem to be visually any different to the car spotted back in July.

That means, up front there's a redesigned fascia with reshaped air intakes and new a front spoiler.

At the rear, there's a high-rise rear wing, larger vents underneath the tail-lights, a surfboard-style rear diffuser, and exhaust tips that have been relocated halfway up the rear bumper.

Earlier rumours suggested that the Huracan's 5.2-litre V10 will have is output increased to around 485kW. Combined with expected weight savings from more carbon-fibre components and removed comfort features, this should significantly boost performance over and above that of the 449kW/560Nm Huracan LP610-4.
