Funny you seem to be so upsest about lifted 4wds, when your beloved falcadores seem to be significantly more overreprsented in fatal accidents!!
Quiet frankly I haven’t heard of any fatal road accidents caused by 4wds being lifted in years?
While in the last week, how many people died in accidents involing falcadores??

Tool box, don’t forget you can legaly lift your 4wd up to 50mm (in most states even less), before you actully need an Engineers Certificate!!

Also most 4wd these days, need and can afford a decent lift for better offroad function!!

Pretty easy to spot the lifted 4WD with the 200kg bullnar as it crashes through your A pillar and takes off your head.

In QLD we never used to have to display “P” plates (up until 2-3 years ago??)

Previously we used to play guessing games to find the P-Platers, but would never truely know. Now it is like a spot light has been put on them, and after you see some silly behavior, and make a guess of P plater action, you can actually see you are right.

You never realised how stupid they are till the spot light was put on them

Unfortunately these urban assault vehicles are allowed to cruise our city streets for no good reason.

Lifting them basically negates whatever protection u may have in a car.
All five stars out the window because some underendowed moron wants to lift his 4WD.

Lifted 4WD shouldn’t be allowed on the road.

Was the 4WD a late model Prado as there seems to be a disproportionate number of these drivers that love to tailgate and generally bully other drivers.

I think this insane 4wd was living out one of those intense raging moments, you know the one where a p plater decides to overtake cars while the traffic is braking.

If there are no witnesses I would suggest the following scenario, a p plater decides to change lanes during a red light, they sweep into the next lane, another car already under breaking struggles to stop, and then plows into the back, there was no chase, the whole thing could very well be a lie… similar to the \”chik chick boom girl\”

there is a sociopathic 4wd owner out there, who thought what better way to test out their new bullbar, than plow into the back of some p plater with bad taste in music and 2 subwoofers to prove it.

BTW for interstate readers, the western suburbs has the highest concentration of cars with rims-and-stereos-being-worth-more-than-the-car drivers, 2nd only to the eastern suburbs of melbourne.

Can’t for the life of me imagine what the P Plater must have been up to. I have to admit that I personally have been tempted to do the same to some of these D heads but have so far managed to let reason prevail. I can sure sympathise with anyone who gets pushed over the edge though.

Well my Pajero which is lifted and does have a bullbar is freekin awesome and I’m not changing it for anyone! Too bad if you don’t like it, its not your car! While we still live in a free society where you are allowed to buy and do whatever you like then you can all get stuffed and i’ll buy whatever car I damn well like!

I’m not sure if it was related but I did see a 4×4 Dual Cab Ute being winched onto a tow truck in the presence of two cop cars, about 5km’s up the road from the incident in Barrymore Rd Greenvale late last night.

You have got the right idea. Don’t reduce yourself to their level (that of an angry rabid monkey) just smile, relax and remember that these people are worthless to you. You don’t work for them, you don’t want to marry their sister, just let it slide and secretly hope to see them on the side of the road up ahead with a copper booking them (toot – smile – wave) or better still, a blowen up engine (same again).

It can help if you accept that every time you hit the road you are going to see at least 2 idiots, then you can count them off, make a little game of it. How long before the 1st one, “Ah, thats 1, 15 miniutes into the trip” “Well done sunshine, thats 2, 21 minutes” Some days you will be suprised to have none.

Exactly, there are far more important things in life!! :-)

If you feel really compelled to do something, I have found a smile and a wave instead of a finger etc seems to have more effect on them then than anything else! It is as if they want you to swear/flip them the bird etc when the do the ’stupid’ action. When you smile and wave, it seems to annoy them even more as well as making you feel better and less likely to do anything stupid in retaliation.

Being a p-plater, if I ever saw someone doing something so stupid as to damage someone elses cars i’d grab their number plate and report them to the police. You truly are stupid for provoking attacks on people regardless of whether they are p-platers or not.
