A 2004 Range Rover HSE, Diesel and
A 2007 ” ” Vogue, ” .

If your ostentatious I recommend this car for you. If you are “rich” but practical, I do not.

Look, for all the people out there who are totally infatuated with the Range Rover.

I have to agree it is a stunningly beautiful car, excellent off-road vehicle and a symbol of style and class.

However, the Range Rover has one major flaw. The Range Rover hugely lacks reliability. I am not a car engineer so I cannot give accurate reasons why (over-complication, the fact that the Range Rover has been “tossed” around manufacturing companies). I personally have owned 2 modern Range Rovers and I am not a “rev-head” or “lead foot”.

Shortly after my purchase of these two vehicles there were several minor electrical problems and also a battery lead caught fire in one of them. Once only a moderate amount of miles was racked up there were major problems such as diff’s, Gearbox(which had to be replaced) and drive shaft bearings.

I now just own my 1954 series 1 Land Rover, which in my opinion is far more reliable than the Range Rover

Thank-god they have kept design changes exterioly to a minimum and once again added a smoother more luxurious finish to the cabin via new and more extensive wood veneer & leather choices as those that were present in the 2nd Generation Range Rover between 1995-2001.

At first i thought “Vogue” was stupid seemingly as that has always been reserved for the top of the line V8 Petrol model but seeming as though the new Sport is here it’s fitting in order to make sure model designation is retained. Range Rover Vogues are completely classic & the only true Luxury off road vehicle on the road. No other vehicle offers such a good ride & all-terrain capability as the Range Rover. It’s classic look such as the bold straight lines & floating roof also allow it to hold resale values as it’s very hard to distinguish a 6 year old Rangie from a new one.

Truly a great car to tow the boat, along with your mates & dog in the back

The Range`s boxy exterior styling is because this is a classic luxury SUV, so it MUST look somewhat “squared”, it`s a part of it`s charming, you ignorant.

I thing the Range, spetially the V8 Vogue ROCKS!!!!!!!!
It`s the most stylish midsize luxury in the market (excluding the asweome Q7), it`s interior has an amazing, classic, british, “I`m rich, this is my expensive car” style.

Reckless1 is one of this people that enoys posting negative comments, as he/she has done on other sites. You could give him/her what ever they want and would still complain.
Bottom line from a Range Rover Sport TDV8 owner – the vehicle is superb. Just out of curosity Reckless1 have you ever been up close to the new RR models, or are speaking from a wider perspective, ie uninformed ignornance

Steven, considering the Vogue uses the same navigation system as the Lexus range of cars I think it is unfair to blame Land Rover for the error (no manufacturer make their own navigation system).
Also, the picture is of a TDV8 Luxury. It has the stadard 3 bar grille with standard power vents, green badging (as opposed to the Supercharged cars black badging), 20″ 7 Spoke wheels (supercharged has 9 Spoke, “non luxury” has 19″s). All superficial and if these are all of interest then the “MTV” Supercharged car is for you. The TDV8 remains the absolute pick of the range (no pun intended) though!

The only thing I could find wrong with the 08 supercharged was the fact that, about a week after i recieved it in Australia the touch screen continually shut itself off and on, leaving you unable to operate satnav, cd’s or any other function it is supposed to perform. Very ordinary considering…

I don’t believe the top picture is of a ’08 supercharged. The reason being the grills are out of date. That Range Rover looks more like an earlier model. The interior shots are correct though. I think they are quite stunning 4WD’s.
