This is not a "modified for street" car, though given the complete lack of detail in this article, I can see where some might get confused. I think we can assume that this car is not destined for street use, nor is it likely to become a new paint colour option from Mini! This car is no longer street legal as the windows are so obscured and the added weight and reduction in aerodynamic efficiency will play havoc with fuel efficiency. More likey, this is purely a piece of art (for marketing purposes). It will likely spend some time in a gallery or get sold off at a charity auction (for storage indefinately in someones garage or showroom). This paint job in particular looks perfect, I think.
