Video: Ken Block teases the TRAX STI

Gymkhana hero Ken Block is at it again with his highly tuned Subaru Impreza WRX STI, this time turning it into the world’s fastest snow car.
Dubbed the TRAX STI, this is a new teaser video from the test session shows the car churning through deep snow and up ski slopes with ease – now we wait to see what they have planned for the official video.

More like overrated Yank with too much ego. Apparently he is negotiating a contract for WRC. After being worshipped by dumb Americans who know nothing about anything outside their borders, it will be amusing to watch Block get spanked by the Europeans in WRC.

Yeah there was some video of him beating Colin Mcrae on a closed course a few years ago – only because McCrae ended up with two wheels stuck on a barrier! I agree tho – stupid seppos and their ‘world championships’ or ‘world series’. The likes of Loeb will annihilate Block, and any team wont want him because he’ll be too high maintenance. Hollywood doesnt belong in the WRC
I’d love to see Kenny from the Block get into WRC. I mean, sure, he might not be as competant a driver as some – but we won’t know until he gets in there and really shows us what he has.
Also, I think WRC could use a little something like Block. WRC gets very little attention, and someone like Block could bring a lot to a sport like WRC. Block is an internet sensation, and has a reputation amongst the Gen Y’s & X’s that most WRC champs would long for. Block could bring a whole new audience to WRC.

It will be good for WRC, but it will be just a bunch of seppos bloated with hot air, BS and money. A bit like a band getting attention from 14 year old girls

I’ve always thought Ken Block was the equivalent of Australia’s best grid-iron player, there’s just not much competition.
I was looking forward to seeing him get monstered by everyone in WRC, but the funny thing is Chris Atkinson got a drive with Block’s team for next year, which is nice for him.

Ken is awesome :) love his antics! I think you’ll find he is very realistic about his abilities and how he would match up against the worlds best in WRC.
