VW Break Sales Records
The Volkswagen Brand shifted a staggering 2.11 million vehicles worldwide in the the first half of 2007.
From January to July 2007, the brand basked in a 7.9 percent increase over the previous period.
"We have never sold so many Volkswagen vehicles in this period before. We look forward with confidence to the months ahead"
Of the biggest markets for the VW brand, Brazil achieved the biggest improvement in sales figures, reaching 30.6 percent whilst their largest market - China, enjoyed a 25.4 percent increase to 443,000 sales. Closer to home, they managed to shift more than 261,000 VW models here in Australia.
