but…. does the A4 have a handbrake?? I’ve never seen a handbrake in an Audi, and I ain’t buying one till I see one!

Feel like I am developing a bipolar disorder.Disapponted at the Subie baggers. 04XT totalled and test driving a GT in the morning. Gonna make up my own mind.

Just bought the brand new GT Sedan. Traded in my 2008 XT Forrester. This is my fourth Subaru purchase. By far the most enjoyable car to drive. Got a great deal with the body kit already fitted & front, side & rear skirt fitted as well as rear spoiler. car looks very aggressive with the kit fitted lots of looks when I drive it people do look twice as they wonder what make of car it is. Great Value. wouldn’t buy any other car make. Depreciation, Safety and Driving Experience.

Looks are subjective… beauty is in the eye of the beholder… personally, I love the look of the GT, but I would say that, I just bought one! I just traded a 2006 Liberty wagon for the GT sedan. The wagon has been great, far better than the BMW 320i I had previously… better spec and performance.

Every manufacturer will have issues with a model at some stage and it is generally only the problems which are reported, never the positive experiences which is a shame.

Had our Liberty for 9 mths been in and out of the garage with various “squeaks” one of which is coming from the handbrake cable according to Subaru au,they got in contact with Subaru Japan and they were told that they have not got a solution to stop the squeak, even changing the handbrake cable does not work!!This is our first Subaru and it will be our last,the quicker we get rid of it the better.

I was hanging out for the new Liberty GT to replace my MY04 GT. Went to the Melbourne launch and couldn’t believe what they had done to such a great car. Took a test drive and the exhilaration has gone also. I have now taken delivery of a VW Passat CC. Great looks, packed with features, AWD, 220KW, 0-100 in 5.6 secs. Cost me another 10k but the difference is stunning. If you enjoyed the previous GT like I did, take a look at a CC.

Sorry your parents had problems with their Mazda 6. I’ve had mine for over 4 months now and no problems at all. It is a great car to drive.
