Lovely looking car and is a hoot to drive! So much torque but very little torque steer, very refined and handling is precise; it turns in well and grips as well as my old 106 gti. Honestely if your looking for a drive that isn't as manic but actaully smoother and more divable than the Corsa VXR and Clio 197 then this fits the bill. And after all it IS a hot hatch so will definitley put a smile on your face on any straight road once that overboost kicks in or any B-road and will leave a lot of so called hot hatches for dead! Reccommended.

Neither would my Dad! You have to drive a Peugeot to experience it and be over whelmed by its brilliance!

Honestly I can understand the comments about looks, but it really is not that horrible. Tad eyesore, but that is Peugeots choice as front of cars they make have that individual company signature that instantly registers with people and they know long before being close to the car which make it is. Shame that thought process could not be made towards others (i.e. Holden with there Asian exercise; "HOLDEN MEANS A GREAT DEAL TO AUSTRALIA")

As with most French cars, looks are placed aside in favour of handling.

Once you sit in one of these, you'll soon forget the looks and crave the next corner.

Its a beautiful car, I've always loved Peugeots, they are definitely not for everyone, but thats another reason to love them.

A beautiful piece of machinery, forget the ho-hum Japanese and German hatchbacks, this has panache aplenty... and the punch to match.

It'd be nice to see it go on a bit of a diet though, now that would provide the throwability of the classic 205GTi.... look out, I'm getting a bone that a dog couldn't chew :D

For the simple one... front nomenclature means the Peugeot range has a similar front open grille like a whale shark eating plankton. Holden do it similar too with Commodore, Barina, Epica and Captiva. Similar too are Mitsubishi with Challenger, 380, previous Magna, Triton, Colt and Lancer. Perhaps we can be enlightened with the great car designers out there on how this model should look if ugly. It does look a tad ugly, but it is better then some if not most out there (WRX)

Well I can't doubt the credentials. I remember the GTI6 (based on the 306) was the benchmark of all hot hatches, outdoing even the golf. But this new look 207 is a bit funny looking with that big grining front grille.

She's definately bold, but not beautiful.

Ugly...ummmmm, ok; yeah right. It is cool looking and carries company front nomenclature that is recognisable and it gives it panache, flair and VIVA LA DIFFERENCE from the humdrum rest of the pack. If you think it is ugly, go buy or sing the praises of a WRX or Dodge Avenger! Yes to each there own!
