Right, different cultures have different expectations. What may be great to some, might not be the same to others. Just like in cars, some would dig Prius while others prefer BMW or Audi…

Agree, Toyota IQ won it last time, and the Honda Jazz won it before that…

Believe it of not, even the Nissan Micra won it in 92-93.

Japanese car culture is different from Aus, the expectations from a car are different. They also have different car range on the market. If the Japanese hear Holden Commodore won Australia car of the year, I’m sure they’ll be laughing like you are now.
