Novitec Rosso Edizione 747 revealed
October 19, 2009 by George Skentzos
Novitec Rosso, the world’s leading Ferrari tuner, has yet again turned its attention to the Scuderia badge with the debut of the Edizione 747.
Beginning with the lightest and most agile model from Maranello, Novitec has added its twin-supercharger set up and the result is all in the name.
The twin-supercharged V8 engine has been boosted by 174kW to 549kW at 8500rpm with peak torque of 738Nm at 6300rpm.
Needless to say, performance has been improved dramatically, taking just 3.4 seconds to reach 100km/h, 9.4 seconds to peak 200km/h and just 22.9 seconds to reach the 300km/h mark.
With an optional set of longer gear ratios the Edizione 747 is capable of reaching a top speed of 351km/h.
While it retains its original body work, the Edizione 747 receives a special two-tone matte yellow and grey exterior finish, together with the trademark black tail lights, side indicators and reflectors.
The racing theme is continued inside the engine bay with all carbon fibre engine components in a matte finish.
The 20-inch custom wheel and tyre combination are a full one-inch larger than the production items they replace, wrapped in Michelin Pilot Cup rubber.
Novitec sports springs improve handling and lower the ride height by a rather substantial 30 millimetres – and the 430 Scuderia not exactly far from the asphalt to begin with.
To maintain some degree of practicality, Novitec also offers its front lift kit to raise the front end by 40 millimetres at the press of a button, helping to negotiate car parks and speed bumps.
Inside, the flat-bottomed Supersport steering wheel features a combination of leather and carbon fibre with matching carbon fibre shift paddles which are longer than their production counterparts.

They are crazy…pity the colour scheme…
Big deal 9FF have a 911 that can hit 300 in under 18 seconds, now that’s crazy.
thats what happens when you adopt an AWD system….. boost the power and you get faster launches!
Car Fanatic, it is a big deal. Anyone can hop in and drive a Ferrari from Novitec Rosso, anyone can’t get in and drive that monster from 9FF. Yes, we’ve driven them.
2 superchargers… why not throw a few turbos in there too… crap throw 4 turbos in there
You would have to have biceps on your biceps to get away with driving this car.
OTT
love the car, hate the matte colour scheme….inside and out…..hate it…
nothing worse than a nice supercar or even standard merc, bemmer audi etc etc with that stupid matte finish….looks undone…
my opinion of course…
I saw matte finishes in Germany last year, in person I thought they were alright BUT they were ALL black or grey. A combo scheme like this is a different
