well.. if that car reach australia’s soil.. I will buy it for sure!!! it’s cheap!!! it’s not gas thirsty!!! especially when the gas price now is reaching 1.7 per litre!!!

Chinese will do it cheaper cause thats what matters……..not lives!Do they even crash test…….I doubt it! Unless someone else paid for it!

A little dissappointed with all the negative commentary out there…it was a crash test for gods sake…thats why thet do them…to make a better car!
They have just started getting into doing them…so give them time….no one cast the stones at the Koreans, yet their making a much better car.
Give new emerging nations a chance at engineering!

But as we can see from the video, the airbag was not even there, and the exterior design of this car looks like some 80′s cars. So I am not sure if this car was built based on latest tech or anything, it looks more like an old model like somewhere between 80s and 90s, not sure. I mean how can a 2007 car run without an airbag, that is unacceptable.

This car was designed for high speed driving by the Germans! It has Porsche designed engine even. This test is only the easier part of the EuroNcap, there was no side impact test done! One can imagine what would happen. If another car hits this deathtrap from the side even at 40 km/h then the whole family inside will be killed. And what is going to happen if another car hits from behind? Probably the petrol tank will explode! Almost forgot about the active safety: this car is equiped with top quality tyres and brake pads.

You have to remember that these cars are not designed for
high speed driving. You would be lucky to get above 40km/h driving around in china. So owning one of these is
not so bad….if you live in china.

This car is a facelift of an original Seat Toledo (which in turn is based on early ’80s VW Golf/Jetta Mk II), the production line was bought from VW, but it seems that the locals have used cheapest steel and reduced the number of welds to an absolute minimum since these things cost but are not seen by the consumer. I can bet it rusts quickly too! The good thing they will disintegrate quickly on Russian roads and Russian winters before too many people get killed!

Relax! All is well. The Chinese government keeps telling everyone that everything is OK and that Chinese products can be trusted. Their ambassadors keep stressing that 99% of all good from China are safe and effective and produced to careful standards.

Why would they lie! Obviously the beaurocrats in Washington DC (USA) believe them.

Why would anyone advocate a worldwide bad on Chinese goods until they get their s4!t together? Lead in paint, melamine in food, ethylene glycol in toothpaste, and tires that fall apart without gumstrips are all just teency-tiny little itty-bitty mistakes. After-all no one is dying, right? Oh, wait a minute…..
