NO more diesel!!!!!!! What a bunch of looser bean counters, the diesel was a cracker compared to this petrol version, in fact the only one worth buying. Less than 5 litres per hundred K,s on the highway for an all wheel drive was very good!! and all the torque of the 2.0 VW diesel as well………Who are these dense people and how do they become so influential?????

According to a dealer no Diesel any more. Jeep/Chrysler are switching to a Merc 2.2 maybe next year, but with FIAT now calling the shots they might wait until the Merc engine gets replaced to save on having to maintain 3 different diesel engines (VW/Merc/FIAT).

I think this one comes with the VW diesel engine.
Also in a magazine report it came out as the most fuel economic of the 15 cars tested, including the likes of VW Tiguan, Audi Q5, Nissan Dualis, etc.

That seems like prety good value to me. Has anyone driven one of these?
I owned a older jeep over in canada for a while and it was the most frightening thing i have ever driven at highway speed. I asume they have improved them since then.
